Nick Deraiche
A drummer since the age of 12 and having been exposed to jazz at an early age, Nick Deraiche was accepted into Toronto’s Humber College Jazz Program. There, while polishing his jazz skills, he had the opportunity to learn numerous drumming styles from Humber’s talented and diverse faculty. Midway through his college education, he had numerous gigs aboard cruise ships playing in a quartet. After graduating, Nick found his way to the middle east, playing drums for a jazz trio in Muscat, Oman. He continues to provide live entertainment for 5 star hotels and cruise lines. Nick is able to play a multitude of style, including: laid back jazz standards, funk, R and B, drum ‘n’ bass, and a host of Latin styles suitable for any occasion.
